Not that long ago, Elizabeth Norton considered herself a steadfast, lifelong New Englander. She grew up in Campton, New Hampshire, graduated from Holderness School and Dartmouth College, and went on to earn a PhD from Tufts University and complete postdoctoral training at MIT.
